Yes. No tick prevention is 100% guarantee. We recommend using a vet recommended tick prevention as well as one or more natural tick prevention alternatives to help control ticks as much as possible.

It is recommended to keep it on your dog 24/7. Many dogs hitch a ride on the dog and end up indoors long after their walk. We do recommend removing the collars during rough play or while swimming in pools.

EM Tick Collars should be replaced every 10-12 months. in general. The EM ceramics lose their effectiveness over time as they are exposed to air, dirt, oils, and general wear and tear. If your dog plays very roughly, the ceramic beads may occasionally break.

EM Tick Collars are safe for use for humans, dogs, and cats. While they don't contain any harmful chemicals, the beads themselves can be a choke hazard for small children or very small animals. We do not recommend ingesting this product.
